R2R down and issues loading.

Hey! @admins is R2R experiencing server issues and constant slow downs?

Wanted to see if it was just me but I keep experiencing very long load times and an occasional down message.

There were issues earlier, I noticed animated avatars were no longer working. Rev said the site would go down as they perform restarts and diagnostics to figure it out. I believe that's what's going on

Okay I bet that’s what it is! I appreciate the info. Was worried it was maybe my internet or something.

It's not loading pages and locks completely and have to relogin but then sometimes it still just says loading. Does this all the time for months now for me. Doesnt matter what page or what im doing it just goes really slow or stops responding completely. Its just here i havent had trouble anywhere else. Im on a pc win11pro using firefox but does the same on MS Edge. Im running fiber optic and its like a 1200 baud modem on a telephone line haha

Yea I’ve experienced that as well, as of late im getting that down error all the time. I just switched internet providers to hyper fiber, 2 gig up and 2 gig down. So I was wondering it it was because of that. But at least it’s not just a me issue then. Hyperfiber is insane.

I have seen it this way on and off for long time. Its just here for me. I think too many people clicking like and banners weighs it all down :)

I have changed to all different dns servers and doesnt seem to matter...Generally i use cloudflare

Is that what it is? Too much data for the server to handle. Sounds like it’s time for an upgrade!

It’s like when you click on an online news page or a recipe page. Takes forever to load. It’s the ads.
It there was a straight HTML version of the site, it would be lightning quick.

I had issues several times. Had to reload and GIFs wouldn’t work a couple of times.
But it is the smallest of reef issues we can have

I think it's been a Cloudflare issue. I saw online where others on Cloudflare were having issues. Seems to be fine this morning!

I know it’s annoying….grrrrrrr

That’s why we got a new, much more powerful server quote yesterday and we will be moving to it soon! We’re on very old hardware, but not for long!

I’ll keep you all updated.
