Raising Water Levels in Trigger System?

I have a TS-RUBY36S Trigger System, and want to Raise the Water Level in the first two compartments. From 9-1/2” to 10-1/2” I’ve been fast dripping additional Saltwater into the Sump, a gallon at a time, while monitoring, with barely any results. I want to raise my the Simplicity pump. I’m using it on my LifeReef Skimmer, in the first compartment. I want to get it off of the bottom of the Sump, before it ingests something.

The overflow partition just before the return bay determines the sump depth. Add something to the top of it to raise the sump level.
