Ramp time for Coppersafe?

5 Days? Is 3 pushing it or will the fish tolerate it?

I haven't used it much. Thinking about switching to Copper Power.

Anybody have any negative issues with fish not tolerating Coppersafe? Or any issues ramping to therapeutic level.?

Most important thing is to use the Hanna copper checker as coppersafe bottle potency is very different. 5 days is fine, if the fish have velvet, 2-3 days is a better bet. So it depends.

If you have a Hanna checker. Predose the tank to 1.0ppm.

Then add the fish. Then spend 3 days increasing by .25ppm per day (split into am/pm doses).

Ok. Yeah...I’ve tried to ramp in two days with Velvet before.

I pre-dosed to 0.7-0.8. I dosed another ML last night before a left for work. Couple more and I’ll be good.
