Hello, all. I am getting a new piece of livestock delivered tomorrow morning and am concerned about not having appropriate bacteria in my QT. My QT power strip caught on fire last night and I spent most of the day cleaning the entire system, replacing all of the electronics, and setting it back up. I have a bottle of bio-spira which I plan on using in the morning, but I am afraid that there will be an ammonia spike after the fish are added. Can I use Prime in my QT safely? I follow humbles advice. 30 Days of CP, and within those days, multiple doses of general cure (prazi + metro) and additional metro. If not, are there any other ideas that could help? Thanks!

Just dump the whole bottle of bacteria in. Make sure to have a filter with some biosponges and what not. I like to use a filter pad a couple days after putting the bacteria in anmd then placing it before the biosponges. That way I can rinse it daily and keep leftover food from breaking down.
