Rare Anemone

I work for a guy that tran-ships this anemone in. He says in decades of being in the industry he's never seen something like this, I wanna share it with everyone and see if anyone has any idea what it is.

got riterri thrown my way from my local forum, but doubting with those tentacles

seems to "mimic" green star polyps- wow!!
-looks like some type of heteractis anemone- maybe in the sebae family
-hopefully its a clownfish host!!!!

look here for an ID Sea anemones: Actiniaria.com you might be able to ID it but it looks like it may have been dyed

They do not host clowns

What kind of lightening do you have it under? The coloring is very odd

They are not rare, just not commonly imported. Most people dont want a large hungry anemone that doesnt host clowns.

I've heard that they make great hosts for anemone crabs and sexy shrimp though
