My big puppy dog

The larger Conspic was born in April 2017 and with me since December 2017. These were from the first batch. This Conspic is approximately 4+ inches now. If you are seriously considering one, Poma Labs is fantastic. Dr, Matt is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. How long have you had him for? How big is he? How are the Interuptus angel? I’m thinking about getting one. Were they pretty easy to acclimatize and get eating? Not the best pictures but here is my pair of Interruptus Angels and a pair of Pakistan Butterflies

Zero issues. They were eating everything from day one. The pair is currently in an Elos 160XL (approximately 200 gallons). His fish are clean and healthy.Nice. No issues at all with them? What size tank do you have them in? I’ve actually chatting with Dr Matt and he’s been amazing. I’m hoping in the spring to get one from him. I have a 205 gallon that I need to get plumbed and up and running in the next couple weeks.

The first one I got was already an adult and had no problems with him eating and adjusting. The female I got as a juvi, but had no problems with it either. Just had to use a cheese grater to grate the frozen food (LRS) small enough. The male is mean and chases after everyone in the tank, except his little female. I am seeing the female starting to harass the other fish too.
Wait those are rare in America?Aussie Harlequin Tusk

Oh. Good to know. Did the male always do that or did he become aggressive after you added the female? I would love to get one however i’m also looking at a Conspic angel. So I would love for the tank to be the lease stressful as possible. I do understand that there will be a little bit as they fight for heriechy in the tank though. Would you recommend one? Any other advice that you can give me? I have a 205 gallon tank that i’m In the middle of setting up
He was aggressive even before adding the female. He was in tank for almost 2 years before I got a juvi female. However, he never bothers my Flagfin/Goldflake hybrid. (OH, I guess i have another rare fish to add.) Maybe that is because he is already an adult. And they are about the same size. Interruptus are beautiful fish and I would never get rid of mine. I would suggest putting an Interruptus in last and a smaller one if you decide to add one. But as I'm sure you know, that is still not guarantee it will work.
Ok thanks. I’m thinking of a Scribbled and conspicuous as my big angels. I’m trying to decide between the interuptus, jonculator, bellus and a couple others as my two - three choices for the dwarf angels
Wow!! I didn’t think that they got much bigger then roughly 4 inchesEven though they are classified as a "dwarf angel", they are actually pretty large. Mine a good 6 inches long.
