Hi, recently found out my RBTA is fading.

It’s getting a bit lighter than last week.

My system is 150gal and it’s just pass the half year mark. My water is at ultra low nutrient though. My refugium is gone all the chaeto die out and even bubble algae on my live rock disappear. Only algae in the tank is these hair algae and I been dosing Vibrant 15ml weekly.

Parameters are listed below:
0 no3
0 po4
KH 8
PH8.2
Ca 500ppm

I did recently sent up a Ca reactor and it’s been running for a week.

I’m using two radion gen3 pro and running the sps+ mode under 65% intensity. I been running 100% but my acan was whitening so I lower it last week.

The acan has recover and got its tissues back since than and I had move it to a lower place but still really white

Should I increase my light for the RBTA?
Is the cause of fading not enough light or too low nutrient? I been starting to dose seachem Phyto plankton these day twice a day for the amino acid and nutrient.

It’s recommended to wait on anemones until it’s a more mature system generally

Can I ask why you’re running a calcium reactor? Just curious

Also do you feed it? How often and what?

I feed it weekly with mysis shrimp and raw shrimp meat. It’s in my tank for 4 month.

System is really stable with my other coarl doing fine. I noticed only the softy are fading.

I use the reactor since my tank is consuming Ca about 5 ppm Daily and I was dosing Ca before the reactor but I missed some dose and one time Ca dropped to 200ppm and I slowly pulled it back with the reactor
