Just so I know I'm reading this correctly, you went from small frags to your current coral growth in just 13 months? ;Woot

I'm doing nothing specific for the Goni. No feeding at all. Just light & fish poop! :) It's doubled in size since I purchased it from AW.

Wow, what a stunning tank. You're running your tank a lot like I would like to, very light on additional dosing, etc.

What's that first coral in the photos?
The large tabling Acro is a Purple Gatorade. Thanks for your comments. Yeah, very little dosing, just 60ml 3 times per week or so of Reef Solution from Ec0Systems.

Your tank looks amazing! How is the light spill with the Giesemann fixture? What height do you have it over the tank?

Thanks man! I’m so used to the light spill I honestly never think about it anymore. It’s definitely more than having a canopy but not bad at all. Previously I had a full canopy & was very concerned how the light spill would be but it’s totally fine for both my wife & I. Even in our main TV viewing room.

I have the fixture hanging about 8-10” off the top of the tank.

Glad to hear that.... I'm planning a tank upgrade to my 4x2 reef and was thinking of going similar dimensions. I like the look of the giesemann fixtures and open top, but was worried about the light spill without a canopy. Appreciate the feedback. I was also happy to see your coloration so well with 250 watt halides... I was thinking I might need 400 Watters on a tank this size, but obviously 250 watt will do nicely!

Thank you! Yes, I am proud for sure. I look forward everyday to see it develop.
