Hi all, was hoping I could get some feedback on these coral purchases I made over the weekend. I want to think I got a pretty good deal from a local reefer off facebook. I was only looking for a Toadstool Leather but he offered this chalice coral frag for $15.00. It's about 2-2.5" in length. the leather is close to 4" and got that for $25.00. He even through in a few heads of Magician Zoa and Sunny D's (boy these are tiny). They've been in the tank now for about 4 days and the leather finally opened up as in the picture. The Goni I got a couple weeks ago from an LFS and paid close to $200.00 I'm still trying to figure out where to put the chalice in my setup. I wish I could find some other local reefers willing to sell their frags. It really seems like that's the best value when it comes to stocking corals. I like to support my local LFS but sometimes it just is hard. What do you guys think of these corals? Any suggestions on how best to raise these? Perhaps what I should be look at next. Thanks.

All very nice.
The Goniopora looks to be doing very well.
I would be tempted to put the Chalice in the rock work, with lower to mod lighting.

What lighting are you using?

It's a single AI hydra 32 running a slightly modified BRS AB+ schedule. I definitely want to move the chalice away from the goni just cant figure out quite where...I know they grow horizontal. Thank you for the feedback.
