I have a 90 gal tank (48" long) and right now I have 2 oc. clowns and 2 blue reef chromis along with 1 scooter blenny. The tank looks pretty empty tbh. I'd like to add some color, maybe a larger fish and maybe a few others as well. I'm so torn as to what to get so I'm looking for recommendations. I have zoas and other soft and hard corals so it must be reef safe, also have some stars, snails and various crabs. I don't want to overload but I'd like to add something.

I've considered:
Flame Angel (is it really reef safe... probably not it seems)
Yellow (or other) tang - not sure if my tank is big enough to keep it happy
Sixline Wrasse

Ok so any other recommendations? I'd love a tang of some sort but I think yellow is one of the smaller types. Maybe a purple pseudochromis or something??

I wouldnt do the flame angel. Some have success but I wouldn't risk it.

Yellow tank for sure.

Six line would be a good one. You should look at some of the other Fairy wrasses. They are BEAUTIFUL!! and many to choose from. I am very quickly getting addicted to wrasses. :) I will admit it I am a Wrasse man! :D

Maybe look at a tomini tang (Ctenochaetus tominiensis). It's a smaller tang that stays pretty small to. Mine is definitely my favorite fish.

Not my picture or my fish just an example for you.

I would agree with looking into some fairy wrasses too. Possibly a McCoskers flasher wrasse.

Anthias are a nice little fish too. Maybe a few Bartletts. The sunburst are really cool too.

I think 90is still too small for a yellow tang but a yellow eye kole tang would be a nice touch along with a yellow coris wrasse. Looking at my tank which is a 90 I find yellow stands out the most.

Thanks guys, I checked out both those tangs, like them a lot! That's what I was hoping for, someone would show me something I hadn't really considered. I'll definitely look into wrasses more too. I've checked a few but need to make sure its reef safe. Thanks again! Any more ideas keep em coming!

You might be able to do a small harem of anthias. They are reef safe and can add a lot of color. Wrasses are great too though.

I think a trio of flasher wrasses would be the best thing for your tank and a couple other fairy wrasses, tangs I avoid personally until I uprgade to a 400g tank :)

Sweet pics, thanks. I do like the wrasses the more I see them! Hopefully I can get something ordered soon, I'll post updates when I order.
