Hello! This is actually my first post on R2R, but I just had a few questions for y'all. I recently bought a Biocube 8 from a buddy, and was wondering if y'all had some mods that would make the tank better? The lid was already removed, so I need some light recommendations as well. I', thinking of keeping a zoa garden, and maybe a few other easy corals too. Haven't decided if I want to keep any small fish in it yet. I've heard that the pump should be replaced, as well as taking out the floor on one of the filter chambers. Thanks for the help!

Depends if it has a floor, but yea you can remove it if youd like. I used it to keep macro out of the return chamber.

I would look into an AI prime for light and replace the pump with any MJ series youd like.

Hygger also makes a nice micro powerhead for flow inside the tank.

I also liked turning one chamber into a fuge and scraped the black off the back of that chamber for a side mount light to illuminate the macro.

Thats about all i did to my old biocube.
