Hi All,

I really at wits end here.

I got a marine fish tank in September 2024 and cycled it.

At first I had a green algae issue but that cleared up.

For the last 4 months, I have been struggling with yellow cloudy water with nitrates at 0 and phosphates at 0 and feeding daily. I stopped changing the water to try raise the levels but nothing has changed. Red algae was really bad but managed to get that cleared up but it’s now starting to return again with a vengeance.

I have gotten to the point of doing a water change every 5 days but it does not fully clear and then by day 2, cloudy and sediment can be seen in the water.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

I have a protein skimmer, reef mater, carbon reactor but nothing.

I’m stumped!!
