I have a 20-gallon tall tank. Just ordered 2 red fire shrimp ( bonded pair ). Will I also be able to add a firefish? Will the three bother each other at all? I have 20 lb of rock in the tank. There are small caves within the rocks, not very large though,

A firefish should get along just fine with your shrimp. Welcome to R2R!!

My fire shrimp and fire fish completely ignore each other. Should be fine. My fire shrimp was very shy for the first year. Now that it is full grown it is out and moving and cleaning rock constantly. Very active and one of my favorite inhabitants. My fire fish is very secretive though. Only comes out at night when I feed.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
