Do you have an LFS near you? You could always try ask them to get you one in possibly? Or just wait till you see one appear online. Possibly @Things_With_Stings_Reef could help but I’m unsure since I’m pretty sure they’re in the UK.
@lion king may also be able to help with this, pretty sure they’re in the US.

I tried looking for them a bit ago. Very rarely seen - your best bet is seeing if your lfs can get some or checking divers den every day to see if it comes in.

I’m pretty sure they’re more common on DD but If I remember correctly, LA has been going downhill recently.

You kind of have to have your lfs keep an eye out for them. I was looking for one for a year when a friend at a lfs saw them pop up on one of their list, he ordered them and took all three that he ordered. I've had a trio for a couple of years now. These are fish that you will just stumble on to.

aka pygmy red rooster waspfish, red bandtail waspfish. I know I said I was finished with new additions, these had been on my list for a couple of years and this trio was at a lfs, so i picked them up. I have seen questions regarding these guys from time to time, and frustratingly no one ever...

Petco owns Live Aquaria. If your local Petco has a decent SW section (some in Houston are excellent, just depends on the aquatics manager), ask them to order one for you. You can observe it before you purchase, no obligation.
