All photosynthetic, no real trick except that they like flow, not a violent amount but enough to keep them "fluttering" if that makes sense.

Purchased some macro algae for the tank, just glued them onto a plug and onto a rack for now. Not sure what to do with them.

Wow. That's some impressive growth you've got going on in there. Just about to set up my own 130D so I'll be looking for advice

This tank still up and running. I really hope it is. Just found this thread again and loved reading over it again. Did the light ever cause any issues with the cover like warping/bending?
