I know what you mean, Although I definitely went overboard with mine but I won't have to worry about anything in the long run. I just need to figure out what I'm going to be stocking my tank with coral wise. It's been such a long build I haven't put much thought into it.

Go nuts with it! Start off with something easy like softies then as the tank stabilizes more, try your hand in the more moderate/difficult corals. But also plan out your fish load given there's limited water volume

Yeah I'm kind of at a crossroads when it comes to what else I can get in here fish wise. I have my two clowns and that might be all I can have, 28 Gallon Display with another 22ish gallons in the rear and lower sump/refugium.

I have 5 fish in total in this tank, 2x Oc clowns, 1x komahara blenny, 1x orange stripe cardinal, and 1x fairy wrasse
Plus inverts....a banded coral shrimp, snails n hermits, conch and an urchin.

My issue is I'm not too keen on many other fish lol Atleast that would fit in the tank, would LOVE a mandarin but tanks too small, although a few people would say it's okay, not something I'm willing to risk myself

If you can properly keep one fed, then a mandarin would be ok...but not right away. You can start.now seeding your tank with pods or maybe get one of these captive bred guys https://www.orafarm.com/product/red-mandarin/ that you can feed pellets

My local LFS gets mandarins in every couple months and they all come in eating frozen food, I'm not sure if they are ORA but they might be. And I had originally put the refugium in for the purpose of providing pods down the road and seeding the tank now. my issue is if the clowns make it in there first, they might become crazy territorial which would make adding any docile fish very difficult

Look up "beginner" aquarium fish on the net (not saying you're a novice), then you can go from there. Belnnies, Gobies, cardinals, pygmy wrasses etc ....things like that. Pick a fish that you like, then ask on the forums about them to get some feedback....

So after emptying out my frag tank, i had a few inverts i needed to re-house into my main DT. A snail, serpent star and an emerald crab. I've never kept an emerald crab in my DT before and this particular one, has made himself a permanent
home inside my giant leather coral. He leaves for food but goes back there everyday.

ive never kept one so im pretty much just letting him do his things. he just sits there on that coral during the day and comes out at night when the lights are on

Picked up a new frag the other day from Liveaquaria. The 1st time I've ordered livestock online. A buddy of mine went in on an order with me.
