I have a 750xxl on order and wanted to know if anyone had any experience with adding a rollermat to the existing sump? I was looking at the klir, clarisea and compact thieling but without the sump I don't know which would work with the least amount of retrofitting. Any advice would be appreciated.

Doing this now for someone and adding a ClariSea SK-5000 just running a dcp3000 pump from drain area and putting it where filter socks are. Much easier then replumbing the drains which was the original plan. To do this just need two 1" barb fittings, some 1" pvs, two 1" 90's and some 1" silicone tubing. Ordered all this schedule 80 to look nice with some silicone tubing :) Should be done Friday if you want pics.

Any updates on this? I’ve had this tank over 2 years and may be time to ditch the socks.

I used a "save a fitting" tool to drill out the 32mm fitting and turn it into 1in pipe and then set it up pretty much the same as bulkreef did.

I have clarisea on my 750.

I removed the filter socks, kept the first baffle and put a jebao pump to feed the rollermat. My tank was already plumbed and didn’t feel like taking stuff apart to replumb.

maybe not the most elegant solution but was a quick install and works very well.
