RedSea = always very close to failure. Yours even more. Change it as soon as you can and not support RSR.

Not much, but here was my 525. RIP.
It's a lot of work and $$$ to change.

Best of luck.

This looks beautiful. May I ask what size it was?

I'm in the market, and almost settled on the Red Sea G3 350 or 425 (the 425 is euro-braced). But last night, my algorithms started showing all these videos of Red Sea tanks failing. I'm checking out similarly sized Waterbox tanks, but they aren't euro-braced. So I'm thinking: 90 gallon Red Sea G3 with Euro-Brace, or 90 gallon Waterbox without Euro-brace. It's causing me to hesitate to get back into the hobby (been about 20 years)

While figuring things out I would recommend using tie down straps to help try to prevent that corner seam from splitting.

When that thing goes it will go big, and it will probably be when you're not at home :(

dont do it man, go with anyone other than red sea. Mine was a 525.

It's been a year and I have LR in a tank with fish, no corals, 100s of hours of painstaking breakdown and setup, cost, mental health etc. I would only setup a red sea on a beach. (I can't imagine adding a flood/clean up/flooring/furniture etc)

I have a waterbox 330 now with top braced.

The silicone RS uses is the cause of failure. The addition of a euro brace is RS latest line of BS they are spewing that is going to fix the problems rather than admitting what the true cause of the failures is. Maybe they changed the silicone and are not telling anyone and then they can tell everyone one how great they are. Unfortunately it's going to be a few years before anyone knows if the G3s are really any more reliable.
2 failed tanks aside just the way they handled everything by lying and banning people from their FB page who even mentioned seam failures would be enough to prevent me from buying one of their tanks.

PS maybe look into a custom tank and you can build it the way you want it.
