I have read several post about this but I am struggling to find the information that I need. We have a Red Sea Max E-260 and we would like to add a sump however we are not sure where to begin. We would like our sump to have a skimmer, a refugium, and a UV sterilizer. I have seen some sump kits for sale but I'm not familiar with the retailers and the information is vague. Are we able to use any sump we like and connect it with the Red Sea plumbing kit?

Yes, you can connect a Red Sea Max E-260 to a sump that is not specifically Red Sea, using the included plumbing kit. However, you'll need to ensure the sump is designed to be compatible with the E-260's specific plumbing and footprint.
