Hi Everyone,

After doing a stupid amount of lurking on the forms, and watching every BRS investigates video I could, I set up my Red Sea Reefer 200xl. My tank has finally reached a sort of homeostasis with the auto 2-part dosing and I'm starting to see specks of coralline algae appear on the rocks! The frags are starting to grow and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. I learned some hard lessons about light intensity after my birdnest almost completely bleached before I fragged it and moved the lights much farther away from the top of the tank. My biggest hurdle has been keeping phosphate levels where they need to be, as I just figured that I should be washing frozen food before I throw it in the tank.

The pic below is where I was at 4 weeks ago. When the lights go on tonight I'll post pictures of what I've got going on now :) I hope I'm not messing anything up, a little bit nervous about what some of the veterans here might say

Ok here is what we have! The layout of the tank is largely the same, except some rock was removed in the front and in the back corner to eliminate dead spots with my flow.

Flow was crappy before when I had both Tunze 6095s on the back wall, facing the front glass. There were also two dead zones on the left and right below the powerheads. With one powerhead facing the rear, I was able to eliminate those dead zones.

I'm god awful at taking photos, but I want to show off my pink tabling acro! I'm getting absolutely explosive growth out of her.
