can you run them un-powered, just as toggle switches?
@Projects with Sam I assume since they won't trigger the BoB because they require 12v and the Apex BoB doesn't have that. I could run they inline between a power source and a device as a plain on/off switch but my energy bars could do that as well. Just wouldn't be physical.

@Projects with Sam there is a way to do this I believe. Provide 12v to the switch connections then split off each of the switch connections and restrict voltage with resistors to supply the BoB. When the switch is turned ON it will get 12v and the same source will split off as well, getting restricted to 5v to CLOSE the BoB switch. I couldn’t do this wiring I’ve never even done any soldering. When I do anything electronics I crimp. The little electrical knowledge I have comes from College Physics when I was in the pre-veterinary program. I have custom BoB built by a guy by the username GotFrogs that wired one like this.

The BOB should not have any power provided to it at any voltage. Open and closed is all it wants. Any additional voltage applied will only create problems; possibly catastrophic problems. You can have illuminated switches controlled off of their own power supply.

@Sean Clark yes I was planning a project with a BOB once and was confused so contacted NS. They said that could fry the modules come to think of it.

Do you have a voltmeter? You could setup the powered switches and check to make certain there is no voltage on the wires going to the BoB.
@Projects with Sam I have a multimeter, don't know how to work it. The voltage it takes to go through the switches to make them work is 12V. The BOB has to connect to the same connections on the switches which have 12V. This will fry the BOB and possibly the Apex base unit.

Well I started promising livestock in the utility tank in various allotted time's passing from the corresponding promise dates and have come up short each promise. Now in January I have surgery so I'll be doing some recuperating and will need some fish watching relaxation. So as soon as the pain from surgery subsides a bit I'll take an out of town trip to Petco and get a fish. Just a little prep on the tank. Drain the tank to slide it over on it's platform a bit to make room for a cord routing hole. Drill the hole. Temporarily reroute the cables. Add more probes and modules to the tank and controller board. Calibrate the pH probe. Refill the tank and salinize to the proper level. I think that about sums it up.

Custom acrylic job by Ryan Leafgreen. 24V Apex accessory audio and visual effects alarms go in the three small holes and a cooling fan in the big hole. The acrylic plate mounts on one of the cabinet doors. All four devices run off 24VDC and will be switched off and on by ports on the Apex’s EB832.

Stubborn calcification deposits on my glass. They come off with a lot of scratching with my fingernail so I know they come off. However there’s quite a bit of depositions. It’s going to take some scraping but I don’t want to scratch the glass in the process. Anyone who can help? Stainless blades that are not too sharp?

I
I use razor blades on mine all the time

This:

use that tool too. Works great! I liked it so much I made a mount for it:
