So i kicked up the sand and decided to run the phosphate reactor as i noticed a little algea even though my phosphate test was showing 0 but must have dropped it too quickly and now i have the dreaded DINO

I wanted to keep things neat but having the plugs across to a different cabinet was getting a little cumbersome so i decided to ditch the back board and put all the electrics in one place so its just easier.. yeah not as neat but makes everything easier to maintain

i was looking at those uv lights will be interested to see how it goes

I will keep you posted... but you know the research ive done its really good to have one.. for fish, pathogens in the water etc fish shops use them alll the time and i read a book by juilian sprung who also mentions the use of uv.. but we will see [emoji16]

@merereef Don't forget the UV light produces a little bit of ozone and breaks down wastes.
