Red Sea Reefer Help

. When I was growing up, all I ever heard was that we were going to switch to the metric system over and over...what happened???

So, I did not receive the green tube for the return with my Red Sea 750 XXL and of course I cannot find any tubing that will fit the tiny bit over 1'' connector on the return plumbing. What I ended up doing is boiling a 1'' tube until I was able to shove it over the connector. The problem then was there was no way it was going to fit the 1 1/4'' fitting on the Varios 8 Pump, but i was able to squeeze it into the opening.

Question is, can I just super glue it like that and call it a day?

I have the same exact pump and tank. I don't think it ever comes with a hose for the return (I certainly didn't get one either). You need to get a PVC barbed adapter for the pump. Don't just set it in there like that. Then either use some strong zip ties or plastic hose clamps to make sure that it is set tight. You're nearly there, just one more trip to the plumbing section...

That's what I figured, can't get lazy on the last stretch. Home Depot is going to start charging me rent though. :)
