Can we save your stuff? Can we move what’s left to a living holding system to save it? I want to if we can. If there are corals that were still available, many of them can survive an entire day out of the water we might can save some.

???? If you had the knowledge and the skills (plus the time) Why would you NOT reseal it?
I would buy a new piece of bottom glass and make it an EXT if I was going thru the trouble though.

For me personally? Hard no.
I don't trust my own skills enough to do it, nor do I trust my homeowners insurance to pay out on the policy if I flooded my house... I'd rather pay for a tank, rather than worry about 5x the cost if it popped.

They might not know (maybe they do) that you can’t reseal just one pane, all of the panes need to be disassembled, cleaned, and resealed
IMO I would trash it. Or. Actually. I WOULD just reseal/patch the front pane and sell it on Craigslist as a reptile enclosure, clearly stating it doesn’t hold water, and try and get some pocket change out of it.
That size tank and stand could be worth a couple hundred bucks to a snake or lizard person wanting a bigger setup
Yes, If you are lacking in any of the aforementioned criteria, then it is a hard no. But if you do know, it is a cakewalk and you will have a better built tank than the original.

I imagine a kid out there with a pet that’s out growing it’s home, and the child and family (or even a struggling adult) lack the money to buy a huge setup. Something like this can be a dream come true for the right person.
The hardest part in the whole process is cleaning the old glass, and it has to be perfectly clean. This the time aspect of it. Taking the tank apart will probably take you 3 minutes. After it is prepped putting it together will be less than a 1/2 hour. But cleaning the glass probably a week or two of nights in the garage.
And just because, I would also add a Eurobrace to it.

When my RS 170 cracked the back panel ( my fault) I was quoted 375 to replace and re seal, considering what a bigger used set up would cost was no brainer and upgraded, I did find a local reefer starting up and sold him for cheap the stand, sump and some extras and gave him the tank for free. It was my pay it forward moment 
but I did explain to him the bad reputation on RS seals so he would be well aware.

^ I 100% agree with this.^ Recycling is a great benefit to the environment and can help people in need!
I was thinking of asking for it so I could reseal it and use it for my coffin. Wouldn't that bring some news teams to investigate why a fish tank was turned into a coffin?
Another seal failure leads to a morbid recycling opportunity. :pleading-face:
