Red sea RSK 300 diffuser

purchased a new Red Sea Skimmer 300 a week ago. Upon assembling this week, the diffuser was cracked (see attached)

Box dose not appear to be damaged or pre opened. I wanted to submit a warranty claim and it said I had to register my product but looked like it was only for tank systems.
