Please advise! I have one large red star sea serpent. The fish store sold me a very small red sea serpent as I needed additional clean up crew and the larger one always is on top of the smaller one I’m not sure if he’s trying to eat him or there’s an attraction but he’s been dragging him across the tank and will not leave him alone.

Should I take it back?

I had to separate the big red star serpent from the small one two to three times after that, the small one learned how to stay away from the bigger one and stayed up higher in the rocks. When they did cross paths it was a slow motion race across the aquarium but they seem to get along now.

Just yesterday, I gifted my Red Sea reefer 350 along with all of the sea life, components including the Automatic ATO with pump, the trident system, lights, skimmer wave refers, to the hard working gentleman who services the tank for the past year from new.

So no longer be monitoring the site nor participating in owning a saltwater aquarium it was fun.

Happy Life!
