Red vein like structures

So far these things have only been on the glass. Couldn't seem to find what it was with Google. Any ideas? To be clear it's the red vein looking thing

I've seen these twice before (I can only find one of the threads I've seen it in at the moment - I commented on the other, but I don't remember when), but no one's ever been able to ID them.

Maybe... I haven't been able to find one that looks like this yet. Honestly alien's is looking kind of likely.
