OR!!!!! If you can extract it maybe see if @Wiz or someone else wants it! If it is indeed a eunice. But whatever you do, don't get rid of it without snapping a picture first. ;)

My son has insisted on being present when I attempt to clear the rock. He wants the camera ready when the monsters pour out.OR!!!!! If you can extract it maybe see if @Wiz or someone else wants it! ^ yes I do. ;)
I've seen a small eunice that was pink with a white collar. Possible the original is a different kind of eunice. I agree the dark pics clearly show a collar. That definitely looks eunice. Keeplease me in mind before ditching them. :) my fuge isn't scary enough yet. Lol
I haven't been able to get pics of the original one. It was bright red and white. It didn't look like the Eunice to me, but I only saw it once, and quickly. It might be like those eye witness reports of a robbery. Maybe it's really blue with yellow polka dots and my memory has morphed it beyond recognition. I guess we'll find out when I've got the rock in a bucket with Revive.
I've never tried shipping anything live before. I'll have to look up how to ship monsters, I mean worms, so that they aren't DOA. Would the revive kill them?

My family was just discussing similarly. I'm very new to the hobby, and everyone has been enjoying the game of "let's look in the tank and see what's new in there."I would actually collect such specimens if I had a big enough refugium or like a dedicated creepy tank. I enjoy the ocean and all its beauty and creepiness lol. I have some nice sized bristle worms in my tank and I enjoy watching them as much as I enjoy my corals. They remind me of the diversity the ocean has and that I have a vast biodiversity in my 29 gallon box right in my home, very fascinating hobby.
