hello sir ! thank you for your purchase of our 8 holed shelf ! I see your comments about the rock and holes. Im 100 percent sure you are displaying it upside down ! the holes are handdrilled at the correct placement with slight angles and if displayed upside down you will not be able to place the plugs correctly ! Happy reefing everyone !

It wasn't upside down. It was right side up but the rest of the tank was upside down and the rack was the only thing that was correct.

Lol the rack was definitely in backwards. I appreciate the help and the laugh my friend. Now you're back to 100% success with this customer. My tank is full of your shelves and I have more that I haven't even added yet. No more gangsta lean! Thanks again!

Dang, those looked pretty good before, but now it looks awesome! Flipping it right side up made all the texture come out too. @Aquarocks That mag rack looks fantastic!

It looks so much better. The bottom side was so nice, it fooled me into thinking it was the top side. I chose aquarocks because the shelves look so natural, and the magnets have small a profile, but they are very strong. They have a pretty big selection too.

🤣 🤣 For real, the bottom looked pretty good. I am so glad we get to laugh about this with you :)

Agreed, I had to order a little zoa island for my daughter's tank too while I was at it. Really neat pieces

I am withholding all comments as I am sure you beat yourself up well enough.

Dang, this one i think might be perfect! Stick it on the back between the islands. Only problem, or maybe feature? is that my center brace shades that spot a bit. Might be good to get new stuff acclimated on though.

Nice rack! Has anyone tried one of these on 3/4 glass without the suction cups?

Just saw yo have your light schedule on the community on ReefBreeders. You really are cooking those corals. I just a little behind;d you at this time in intensity.

I assume this is yours:

Oh snap...he's on to me!
Yes, that is indeed my schedule. For full disclosure, here is my 39 inch blade schedule:

The 48 inch meso blue helix is turned up to 90% and is on from 1130 am to 830 pm.

I still feel like i could benefit from a little more light though. Somenof the stuff a little deeper gets some shading issues now and again.

Thanks. How high are your lights? I ask because I’m really starting to crank mine and although all looks good, I don’t want to over do it. It’s comforting to see your lights that intense and corals doing so well.

I am running the meridians at 10.5 inches, the strips are at 8 inches.

For the other stuff, not saying that you should try and aim for what i do though, every tank is different. I have had really good luck running near sea level alk too, i stay at about 7.8 - 8 dKh. 5ppm no3, between .03 and .1 po4, 400ish ppm cal, 1250- 1350 ppm mag. I feed about every other week or so reef roids, benireef or af power food, just kinda cycle between them. I also dose ammonium and urea, about 7ml/day, sometimes more, sometimes i forget.

The coral fairy paid me a visit this evening in his big brown van! I got 2 of the 3 boxes i am anticipating. Battlecorals box was delayed a day, Adam saw the chaos with the weather and decided to hold off, good thing he did, the other 2, both coming from california were likewise a little delayed (luckily only a few hours, not days!)

Here is the Krusty Kraken! Way cool growout from Dust Bowl Corals. Whoever gets their cyphastraea to encrust the whole kraken first wins!

And this one is for SPS Tank's Tropicana grow out. This is a beautiful tank and will give me some of that orange pop that i have been very much missing now that most of the nems are gone. This thing is going to be BRIGHT!

I will have some more pics for you all tomorrow when box #3 shows up!
