I recently decided to start a new tank, the tank is 52Lx26Wx23T, it has an external overflow euro-bracing and starphire on three sides. I just started to build the stand and got my custom acrylic sump in place. The sump is 36Lx20Wx16T with a 20x20 skimmer area and 7 baffles. The stand should be finished this coming week and i will start the plumbing. I am not planning on a fuge at this point as i will likely go zeovit or bio-pellets. Lighting will be a 48" or 36" vertex illumina, skimmer will also be the new vertex cone (as soon as they are available). I will be updating as soon as i get more accomplished. thanks for looking.

Should have some water in it this month I hope. Depends on time, after working all day on other peoples systems, sometimes it makes me cringe to see my own lol.

I have a 1 1/2 TUBV but I'm gonna grab a gate valve when I get a chance. Not sure if I'm happy with the compression tee either, but it's what I had kicking around, I may swap it out still. My system always gets wankered together with the stuff I don't use on customers tanks, so I usually change it up as I go.

More updated pics, finally got my final drain plumbed, water filled and I'm slowly adding salt, the return is pumping 1200g per hour through 2 moceans 2000's, skimming will be handled by a vertex IN 280 skimmer ( big I know, but I stock heavy and total gallons is about 180). Rock will follow soon.
