So ive searched the web for the last year and picked the brains of all my fellow reefers. Heres the final build sheet on my redsea 525xl. I decided to use the jaebo 12000 dc pump. I wanted to use a highend pump but jaebos return pumps have treated me well for the last 5 years and there cheap. I went with the aquamax 120 skimmer even though i had a bublemagus g7 i like the smaller foot print of the aquamax. Two titanium heaters to keep the tank at 79 degrees. Inside the display im running 3 gyres. 2 on the controller and one alone. Hope that will keep the flow random. I wasnt happy with redseas ato container...... ive been having to fill it every 3 days and its a real pain to fill. I seen a post on here where a fellow used a glass vase and some fake plants to camouflage it. I totally poached that idea. I decided i would use the ato as a shroom box in the sump. I mounted a kessil a80 above that to light that tank. For display lighting i went with the 5ft aquaticlife t5 hybrid, i mounted 2 ap700s and a 360we in the center. I know its overkill but i had an extra kessil and didnt want it sitting in a box in my garage. I'm running the lights at 35% and getting 370 par 8 inches below the water line and 150 on the bare bottom. And its a even par reading across the tank. The tank has been running for about 6 weeks. All the coral and fish are doing great i moved them from a tank that had been running roughly 3 years. I also let the redsea cycle for 3 weeks and i used fritz turbo start. I still need to install my doser and my apex. Im going to watch the tank run a few weeks and test my water daily befor i start the doser.

Looking great, I absolutely LOVE your lighting setup!
