Hello. I am having trouble with the skimmer on the redsea max nano peninsula. Anyone else have trouble? It seems I cannot get the airflow ratio right at all. I make the slightest adjustment and my skimmer cup is filling within 20 minutes. I adjust it down slightly and it won't foam at all. Anyone have any tips on dialing in the skimmer?

I had some issues with it at first, I think this was related to the flow I had in the back and allowing the skimmer to break in. Additionally, I think there is a side to the weir in the overflow where water is not well channeled. I presume this may have something to do with the skimmer.

I find that mine is skimming well, but it is very loud. I shouldn't have to super glue things on a brand new tank to make them sound as they should. Going to reach out to RS and probably go skimmerless unless they do something about this. Seems to have been a problem for several years and nothing has been done about it.

I would also ensure you run with a better ATO than the supplied one. I found that keeping the water level helps in this regard. If it gets to be too much, one might consider a sump.
