RedSea Reefer S-1000 build thread.

Just starting a thread here to document my journey on setting up the new tank. Actually replying for a remote sump in the room behind the tank under the stairs.

Been busy so not much recently, but got the UV plumbed in today. Still need to get the filter roller in and get the main drain plumbed, then pumps.

Tanks finally in for mixing station and main plumbing done! Filling with freshwater for leak test and to clean all the crap out that’s collected for the past 3 months.

All equipment done. Snagged some aquabiometics live reef rubble today. Will be adding it as soon as it comes in to start the cycle!

Just curious, what is the 4th attachment/Bottle on your RODI System?

I have a decent RODI System that has 3 Bottles +Membrane up top...what is 4th for and what does it do...I see it's attached to your Filtered Water Line

It looks like he has a sediment filter 2 carbons and 2 DI cartages plus the 2 membranes on top.

Thanks! A bunch of blue reef Chromis and anthias. Yellow, hippo, naso, powder blue, and white tail tangs. Blue jaw goby, flame angel, camel back cowfish, blue velvet damsel, a pit of clowns, and an exquisite fairy wrasse.
