Lobo was done for when I got home lost 65 % if flesh and what was left had lost all color and would have all been gone by morning. Still not sure why it would have melted so fast.

It totally might of not been anything you did. It might have had issues when you bought it. How did you acclimate it?

I did a slow drip acclimate, about 2 hours. Then I did a dip in revive. It came from the critter with two other corals I bought and a royal gramma. Everything else is fine. I had to remove the lobo last night all flesh that was left had turned to purple mush.

Been really busy lately with work and vacation. Everything is settling back down now so I took the time tonight to try to develop some camera skills. Not great but I don't think they are terrible either. I have added quite a few more corals since my last updates as well as a clean up crew this week from reefcleaners.com. Overall I was impressed with them, I did have a whole bag of snails, Ceriths I believe, arrive dead. The owner has offered me a refund to make up for the loss. Would definitely order from them again, order came with WAY more than was advertised.

I completely agree with you. Freshies are nice but a reef adds a whole new level of care and attention. Never a dull moment! Keep up the good work!

So it's been a while since I have updated. Been extremely busy with work and life. Tank is doing well. Ended up having an algae bloom due to some dead snails. Followed by a small patch of cyano that has since cleared up. No new livestock but all corals have been growing very well. Acan has gone from one head to about 7. Did hit a snag with the tank itself though. One of the overflow chambers had an issue with the silicone and started to pull away from the back wall. This caused the water to run through rather than over the wall. JBJ sent me a new tank under warranty but I am going to just fix the old one (so I don't have to move everything) which just needs a little silicone and either setup the new one or sell it. Will post some pics tonight.

That's good that JBJ stood by their product. Keep us posted on how the silicone fix works.
