Might be a little early for a build thread but I'm getting pretty excited to receive it.
I ordered a new Reef Crest Series (Drop-off) tank that should be arriving any day now but I've never run an all in one aquarium so I'm not to sure on what equipment I need to be looking at. The only thing I think I've decided on is the lights I'll be using, radion XR15W Pro unless that won't be enough for that tank?

Biggest thing I'm having trouble with is to find a stand that'll work and carry the weight. I'm open to any and all help I can get!

Thank you in advance!

I know it's been awhile but I finally got around to getting my tank set up. Pretty happy with how the rock work looks. I plan on upgrading the lights later on but for now these will work I think.

What did you wind up using for a stand??

I found a barn wood bar table that works nicely. I wanted something that sat higher up and I figured since it has the back chamber for all the equipment I wouldn't need the storage underneath. Might not be the normal aquarium stand but I like how it looks.

I'm still trying to decide if I need a protein skimmer or not. Can't seem to find any that will fit in the back chamber but my LFS guy said I shouldn't bother running one.

Yes it is, couldn't be happier with the build quality and their excellent customer service.
Thanks, good to know. I'll be going with them for my reef ready tank.

As far as the skimmer, why don't you ask them? The drop off i saw in their store didn't have one, nor did the one someone I know has. But I think there should be a skimmer that should fit if you want one......

Added two fish to help with the cycle process and some live nitrifying bacteria that my LFS guy highly recommended. Never added this to a tank before so I'm not sure what to expect?

The live nitrifying bacteria seems to have sped up my cycle process quite a bit. I've been testing daily and and have had my LFS test and everything reads that I'm almost through my cycle process. I've added 10 snails as a cleanup crew. I can already tell that lighting on this drop off tank will be difficult, the center rock which gets the most light has algae growth way worse then the others. I don't feel my light will be sufficient enough to reach the bottom drop off well but I'm not sure how to get good light at the bottom without over lighting the top. Pictures will come soon!

Nice setup, glad to hear you like the tank. I am getting ready to purchase a 28 AIO from them and was a little worried about them since there isn't much feed back out there

I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the tank and they have great customer service keeping you updated throughout the build.

Any updates on this tank? I'm waiting on mine to arrive, I'm planning to run a IM full size skimmer and IM fr-s reactor. And I'm planning to put a media basket but not sure yet. And I have a 24" ATI powermodule, do you think it's a good light for the RC 35? TIA.

Tank is doing great, I’ve been so busy with work I haven’t had time to post much but not much has changed since the shortage of time right now. I still only have the two fish, snails, and a starfish in the tank right now. I’m just running carbon, foam pads, and bio balls. I’d like to get a skimmer but I haven’t found any that will fit yet. That light should work great for the tank! Can’t wait to see how it all looks when it arrives!!
