I have the Reef Factory Smart Roller. I'm having an issue where the clean roll is holding water and one side of the clean roll is heavier because of that. When the roll turns and the heavy portion reaches the top, it tips over and unrolls itself until the heavy portion is at the bottom again. This loosens the otherwise taut roll, allowing some water to bypass through the sides of the fleece. This prevents the float from ever triggering unless I manually advance the fleece until it's taut again. This is my first roller, so I'm assuming it's normal for water to travel up the fleece.

Interesting. I don't have one or know much about them. Where is your water level actually set and is there any splashing inside?

I would be interested to hear form other users if they have similar issues.

Mine never advanced up on the water level. Can you describe where is it having issue?
