10 miles as the crow flies. But our marina is 1/2 mile down our street. It has deep water access and is 1.025 salinity water with dolphins, manatee, sharks, sting ray, fish, shrimp, oysters, etc... Just have mud instead of sand lol

Currently 6 miles to the ocean, three to the bay. Back in the good ole days, lived 194 yards, 157 yards, 150 yards, 68 yards from the beach at different locations. But the best was when I was living ocean front right on the sand. Oh yeah, the good ole days. But at least now I can find someplace to park! ;Joyful

For me in Cincinnati.....
I believe the closest is Virginia Beach 489 miles but I'd rather do the 690 trip to Pensacola/Destin

I'm in Missouri... Smack dab in the middle of a continent... lol Its rough on a sailor to be this far away from the sea... Guess that's why I got a reef in my living room...

I’m slightly north of Indianapolis Indiana. The family vacation spot growing up was Kiswahili island South Carolina, and that was always about a 9 hour road trip...

I grew up in Indiana and went to college in Indianapolis! Moved to Boston a little over a year ago. Less than a mile from the ocean currently.
