Reef joke... anyone?

I’ve seen lots of reef memes but rarely, if ever, any jokes. I’ll do one. Not really a joke but from a true conversation with my wife.

Me: feeding fish LRS food. Thawing, straining water. Carefully feeding fish and corals. Making sure the shrimps get a good chunk to keep them off the corals.

Wife: you feed the fish better than you feed your own kids.

Me: uhhh. You feed the kids, not me.

Wife: ;Bored

Real life:

I was hanging with a Venezuelan friend and some of his family when I visited. We were talking about hobbies and things we do in Jamaica. Conversation goes like this:

Family: So what do Jamaicans do for fun?

Me: We play football, go to the movies etc. I'm a Martial Artist though and I also took up Reefing.

Family huddles together to translate Reefing and I only hear one whisper:

"Si'! Reefing, because he Jamaican" and he does the smoking action with it.[emoji19]

Then they all say Aaaahhh! and then he asks if the Reefing doesn't affect my cardio for the Martial Arts.

Had to go through this long explanation that being a "Reefer" had nothing to do with Marijuana nor being Jamaican. I've never even smoked.[emoji17]
