I just cut all the baffles out of my waterbox tank in the process of installing a reefmat 500. The plumbing the reefmat will be connected to is underwater, I will need to use the sealant to connect the corrugated hose to the included connector. How long must I wait after using the sealant before it is submerged in my tank? Could I place it in right away?

The corrugated hose will be sealed onto a connector which will be connected to my main drain underwater. So the sealant will be submerged entirely.

edit: the manual says it can be used right away but the manual also doesn't seem to think it will be fully submerged

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
