Hey there, I have another question about something I noticed.

I have two DS18B20's hooked up. One for Tank and one for Room. I have different ranges setup for each, but I wonder why one is showing 2 decimal places, and the other shows 4 and sometimes more in the graph?

I never paid attention to that.. But i think all of mine are reading the same.. My pi3 Decided to die yesterday . Well sometime in the middle of the night before, Cana Kit is sending me RMA Today and will ship it out... I will prob just buy a new one between now and when i get replacement... Two is always better then 1...

OHH YOU Need to step it up.. 4 Probes are better then two.......


@Ranjib my temp prob issue is a BAD Resister.... I rebuild the whole circuit again on bread board and was working fine with 4 probes .. One of them 20 feet cable....two 15 feet and one with about 4 feet.. I am now using cat3 phone wire.... From the reference i posted above this seem sto be the best ..

Cana Kit will GET No more business from me... I am going to see if Amazon can help.... I bought it direct from amazon. My fault i guess for assuming it was a us company

I am starting to less and less. Its just not worth it .. You pay yearly for prime shipping..but you can find better prices and other places are starting to get better with shipping..
Then this . If amazon sells a product from another country. they should handle warranty returns or have a US ADDRESS To return the product.. I over paid for the item from amazon just to get it quicker. and NOW IT has cost me 54.00 cost of item 35.00 cost to replace.... or pay 48.00 shipping to canada .. ?? amount for them to send me a replacement and 4-5 weeks wait....

This is the Second time I have had this happen with Amazon Last time they just refunded as a One time offer to keep me as a Customer....

Anyway.. Sorry for this rant on here. I know its WAY OFF TOPIC....

Did you fry the Pi ? or its just the sd card? I have never lost a single Pi ,,, though I have experience multiple SD card failure.. but the Pi are pretty good, even after like 4 -5 years

Now I've screwed the pooch properly. I copied and pasted those commands into putty, now when I try log into Reef-Pi, I just get a blank screen with the pink block and a line underneath - no tabs at all.

Did you ever figured this out? I installed 2.0.0-beta pi0 on a Zero-W, and I get the same thing. Just a pink banner.

Yes its the pi.. I was actually not touching it ,any electronics when it died. I checked all connections and hooked them into the pi zero and its all working. SO It was the pi defect not a issue with my tinkering.

First thing i done was try the backup sd card..then formatted another to be sure.. Also my pi zero will try to boot the card from my pi3.. So i still have the pi zero..

OHH I called Amazon to ask them about the Shipping issue and sending back to Canada.. They told me They will give me a RMA To send to Amazon but there is a 11.oo Warranty disbursement charge.. They said they will send back to seller... Free shipping back to Amazon .. I will send it tomorrow and Order a new one or maybe 3 .. Tomorrow....

Weird, I had tried opening it on my PC in Chrome, using Incognito mode, and even tried IE, all the same results.

Tried it on my Linux laptop and it works now!!!

Did you try to clear browser history.. I have also had to reboot router a few times....

Can you check with chrome (or whatever browser you are using ) dev tools section. When the ui does not load , it should have some error messages in either devtools JavaScript console or in the network tab (you should see all the api calls and their status)

Hi to all same thing here,and i ended up to use 3 different browser.Chromium just do not want to forget,clean up history,dos not matter.Install Firefox and everything working like a charm. Always ask for help and i figured out this is the browser problem,not the reef-pi.

It has something to do with password stored in the browser cache. Let me take a look at the code and get back to you. Meanwhile does hard refresh (i.e. clear cache, Cmd+Shift+F5) change anything?

Its a bug. I just fixed it: https://github.com/reef-pi/reef-pi/pull/430 , will cut a release in 15 min.
I am doing a lots of work on the UI side, making it responsive (more usable from mobile devices), more accessibility improvements (tabs/keybinding etc) and upgrading all the UI libraries (bootstrap 4). So it can be little wonky/aesthetically not the best till for next few releases. But I have done the end to end testing, so should not be any major bugs. Also this does not involve any backend code changes, logic is still untouched, its all the UI thats going through a major upgrades.
