reef-pi :: An opensource reef tank controller based on Raspberry Pi.

Thanks for all the info and guides on reef-pi. This will be my winter project, and am looking forward to playing around with it, and seeing what other controllers and gadgets are added in the future.

@Ranjib I am not getting any of the io.adafruit feeds. I deleted what I had a redid them all but still no feeds of data. how can I reset it completely and start over?

OK. removed all adafruit telemetry info from Reef-pi. I then reloaded. then I regenerated a new key from adafruit and re-activated the telemetry in reefpi and input this new key. I see feeds now in adafruit, but some do not have data.

Here is what I see on the feeds. none of the temperature ones are getting information.

Hello, everybody. This thread is amazing. I'm quote a noob in this aspect so I would like to check the software out, will it work without an actual Raspberry Pi?

@Ranjib , your 4th module is up on Adafruit now. What are the sizes of the two holes that don't have anything in them yet in the picture, so I don't build myself into a corner?
They are for 3.5 mm audio jacks . Same as temperature probe connector. I plan to use one of them for light controls and another as secondary temperature sensor .

Welcome to reef2reef. I develop reef-pi on Mac , OSX. I think it will work on Linux and window laptops/desktop as well . You have to build / compile locally . If you have no command line experience with computers, it can be little complicated and it’s best to get a pi and use it without any extra electronics

So, no data even after few minutes ? Can you share which probes are missing feeds? Does reef-pi dashboard shows data/chart for the same ?

@Ranjib I have a little experience in using the command line. I can try it out. If it fails...then I will buy a pi. I don't have a mac, but i have access to windows and ubuntu.

My lights are non-dimming T5s, so i can't use the light control, but where would the second temperature probe go?
