I have 3 a foster Blue tang who out grew his original 100 gallon, a yellow tang (who’s a bully) and a flame fin tang I just added. My tank is 420 gallons and I have foxface, freckled hawk fish and a masked blue spotted ray.I'm a sucker for tangs. Always have been and always will be. But we are limited in how many and what types we house in our reefs by tanks sizes, other inhabitants etc. But that won't keep us from talking about them today!
1. How many tangs (surgeonfish) do you have in your reef tank now?
2. What tangs do you have and if you're comfortable with it tell us what size tank you have?

Having a Sailfin (missing her dorsal) in a 125 gallon, i personally wouldn’t recommend another tang. Eclipse is 8” nose to tail and thick. She gets along with her tank mates but that doesn’t include any other tangs.I currently have one in my 75 gallon that's about to get a new home in my 120. Her name is Karen and let me tell you the name fits! She's in everyone's business! She's a sailfin tang and I would like to add another type of tang and wouldn't mind a recommendation.
