I am attempting to set up a reefdose 4. I can make an aquarium in the app and add the reefdose 4 to it and everything works perfectly. But when I restart the app, if the aquarium was in online mode everything is gone and if the aquarium is in offline mode just the reefdose 4 is gone. I have to reconnect the reefdose every time I restart the app what is going on.

Bump.
Ive not experienced anything like that. TBH I don't even know about online and offline mode. The only issues I have is if Bluetooth is off and the app tells me when it loads and I turn it on then select retry and it connects. I know much of our equipment only runs on 2.4ghz networks and some people have trouble when using dual band routers.

I initially thought this was the issue so I split the channels too 2.4 and 5, and the issue still persisted. I just received this from red sea:

“Thank you for contacting Red Sea; we are sorry to hear about this issue.

We are aware of the issue of the "vanishing" of aquariums and are currently investigating it. Please try the following steps to see if they resolve this issue for you:

-Turn off the Wifi on your phone and try accessing the app only with your cellular data. Are you now able to see the aquariums?
-Delete the ReefBeat app and redownload it. Are the aquariums now present?
-Are you able to view the aquariums from a different phone?”

I deleted the app and redownloaded it and all of the aquariums I made except the most recent one populated and the reefdose says no connection. I will have to reconnect the reefdose tonight and we will see if that solved the issue. I have an iphone 12 and I realize newer apps are made for newer phones so I wonder if that can be an issue as well.

I sure you get it resolved especially aince they are aware. Im on Android with no issues but I know some apps prefer one OS over the other. I use Mobius (not by choice) and i can not delete a tank using the app on Android. I had to dig out an old iPhone. Not related but when I was an auto tech we had issues almost every time iOS pushed out an update. People get very upset when their rolling infotainment center had issues.

I was having the same issue. Set up my reefmat today and experienced the vanishing tank issue twice. I bound this device to a 2.4mhz band and deleted and reinstalled the app. Seems to have worked but we will see.
