So the tank ran 48 hours pump on it removed all the crap from rocks and new sand..

Transfered my 15 pounds of live rock from my Fluval Evo 13.5
My 2 Snowflake clowns
And my 2 RBTA
Transfered my seeded matrix , marinepure gems and polyfilter in the included caddy

Hooked up 1 of the Ai primes
Will need to buy a second hanging kit , i bought them used one came with a mounting arm and the other with a hanging kit i prefere the hanging kit more space to move and more adjustability
And i will still be going to a mini cycle since new Hawaii Black Sand and 10 pounds of new dry rock

I installed the xp ato .. works very well
Hooked up my aqamai kps changed the settings to 200L backed reef
The mightyjet is at 1.6 .. 17watts

I need to order a hand algae scrapper since the magnets attracts the hawaii black sand

I will probably install the skimmer tonight if i have time .. i know it fits in the 1st chamber i tried it already

Still need to install my IM reactor with carbon

Pretty much it for now
Didnt do any water parameters check
Will wait a week for it and will do a waterchange at the same time

Im using Aquaforest Sea salt with Comp 123+

Love the stand, looks great. The corners are going to be tough to clean, but I think if you get a low profile cleaner, you should be good. Like the flipper.

I have a 3 inch clearance on each corner ill take better pictures when i get my glass cleaner its easy to clean inside as outside..

So i dropped the Red Devil 150 Inside chamber 1 and some filter floss thugged in for filtration on that side

Well see after the break in period
My first impressions .. runs good . Its quiet enough for a skimmer.. fits perfectly
I paid 79.99 canadian on amazon cant go wrong for that price

Ok ill tell you

First of all i got time to go to reefsupply.ca they are 5 min away from my house
I bought almost everything there , the tank, food, mounts, rocks, sand etc
Im really lucky to be near them..

Got the second hanging mount
Installed the second Ai prime Hd on the same schedule as the first
No more shadows im happy
Got a hand algae cleaner and a new siphon for water changes paid 23$ for both
Cleaned the inside glass finally
The trick with Hawaii black sand is going to be a little challenging.. 2/3 upper part ill clean with a magnafloat magnet cleaner
And the 1/3 bottom tank ill clean with the hand cleaner ..
I did a 5 gallon water change after the glass cleaning and adding the fish and crew

So i already had
2x snowflake clowns
2x RBTA Anemones

I needed a clean up crew
So i went to one of the lfs i never go to
They had 2 huge Turbo Mexican Snails
Like one is 3.5 inch diameter and the other is 4.5 inches
I got succes with them back then in my 120gal
I paid 5$ each Canadian

I bought 2 HB one Blue legged one Red legged
4$ each
1 Ninja Star Snail 4$
And something i didnt plan to buy but they are so rare in canada i bought it anyway
Its a Six line Wrasse
I always wanted one
Hope i dont overload the bioload

Everything was drip acclimated for an hour
The clean up crew started to work right away and the wrasse is doing well too

The skimmer started to make bigger bubbles but still no skimm yet

I have some Cyano on my old rocks hope the Turbo snails do the job
Ill send pics tomorrow when there will be natural light

Little update on the six line wrasse
1st day he didn’t eat
Second day he didn’t eat
I throw pellets and flakes covered in garlic for my clowns .. my tank is still young , i started the evo 13.5 a 7 weeks ago with live rock
So i dont see any pods for the six line yet
I did some research found they like mysis
Threw a jumbo mysis he went straight to it destroying in pieces on the live rock.. i was glad he started eating
this morning i threw some pellets again for the clowns he started to munch on the pellets too , im really happy about that..
Still waiting for the tank to mature for corrals and need to build some bioload for more fish so nothing more will happen ill try to keep up with my 5 gal weekly water change for now and wait

Nice set up, Cool stand as well. Any issues with wave link on back of the tank? Where did you find the red devil skimmer? no issues in the chamber?

Thanks, no issues with the Aquamai KPS on the back, I might buy a second one when i stock up the tank with more corals, for now it does the job,
The red devil 150 skimmer is from amazon i paid 89.99$ canadian, it fits perfectly snug in the first chamber

I change a 5 gal of water every Friday and its still dark like that .. so people who says you dont need a skimmer in nano are lying

Awesome! Looks great! I actually have the Nuvo 40 and have thought about the SR 80 for the future. How do you like it? I’m glad you were able to get your salinity in check. I have a Hanna digital salinity/temp checker and love it. No looking back lol. :)

i got the icecap v3 salinity checker .. always accurate... i was dumb enough to think my old manual refractometer was ok until everything was in check and double checked with a second brand of tests .. ‍♂️ Lessons learned .. the sr-80 is really nice .. the stand is diy from ikea .. i wasnt gonna pay 1200$ Canadian for a aps stand in black .. so build one myself cost me like 280$ canadian dollars with 2x3 wood, screws and the kitchen stand in white... Now im just waiting for the tank to mature.. acans died, torch died, frogspawn died.. still got my zoas and my 5 RBTAs .. sixline jumped.. replaced him with a scopas tang and yellow coris wrasse
