So I'm just curious of anyone has done anything with there reefbreeders photon. Added another led strip, t5 retro...etc

Well I just bought a retrofit (2bulb) since mines a 24", will let you know how it works

Pls do. I might not do anything on the tank I have now because it measures 60" x 18w so I get plenty of coverage. But I wanna upgrade to a 28 wide or maybe even 30" at some point and I think that will be when the 4 t5 bulbs will really play a nice role.

Yea I run a 30x20" tank with a 24" light 1 1/2' off the water line. The coverage is great, growth is perfect, just have some shadowing. So I have a 3 bulb t 5 kit I'll be hanging shortly

T5 retro. Do it. I haven't hung the light yet, but placed an ait blue + and purple + and wow! The coverage is amazing, no more shadowing, the colors pop more. Cheap easy mod.
