hi guys who of you uses photon v2 + reefbreeders? are good lights for breeding sps? are they on the same level as radion and kessil? can I get colored sps corals like under the Radion g5?

I have had 2 sets of ReefBreeders. I still have one on my 40g. I changed out the one on my 120 to Radions.
Yes, they will grow corals.
No, they aren't on the same level.
Colors are a debatable topic. But, IMO, I'd say I get much better coloration from my Radions than my ReefBreeders.
Having said that, if you're on a budget, ReefBreeders are a great light at a great price!

I like my photon. It’s a well put together fixture, and looks good over my tank. I would like to add a led bar with true Uv and some more blue to it in the future, as it only offers 420 as far as violet goes. Growth has been robust under the light. This is my Walt Disney tenuis under the photon.

They use the same brand leds as most other leds afaik, so it’s a matter of preference and provided spectrum I suppose. The body is aluminum. Aren’t the radions plastic? Lol
