Reefbrite LED's

This is 5 bars and my tank is only 12" wide..and still lack of spread.

It could just be the picture, but it seems like you're losing a lot of that spread to light spill over the back of the tank...

your right... when I took this pic it was when I first mounted the lights, and they needed to be centered....also my tank is a 72 bow front which is only 12 inches wide so I do get some spill with the 5 bars... it also comes from the way they designed there mounting kit.

thinking about adding one 36" strip too my 6x39 tek elite iam really just looking for a nice shimmer. i was gonna go with the all blue but i herd that i wont really see the shimmer with the full blue but will get a nice shimmer with the all white is this true?

So, one of my reef brite 72" came in. Went with the all blue and incorperated it with what I have now on my tank. Not sure I'm liking that all blue so far, it's on my 125 and while it's probably the brightest thing I've seen yet in the LEDs ( kudos to reef brite for that ) it may actually be too bright in the blue if there is such a thing. lol Still playing with it though.

As for spread of the LED, I would have liked to see a little more spread but still impressive enough that I won't complain too much. Will try to post pics soon.

Triple threat being run here. giesmann 250w halides phoenix 14k bulb, 48" reefbrite all blue and 2 x ATI purple plus..... LOVE REEFBRITES......
