Me too! Such a unique stick when given the proper amount of light!Love that guy!
so your sitting your high in the system ?Me too! Such a unique stick when given the proper amount of light!
Yeah it's hard giving them the commitment they require... Seems like I struggle to go on vacations out of town or do anything like that because my tank requires a sitter lolI'm getting back into the stick game slowly.
I actually have not mounted mine yet they're on the rack still... They've been there for two or three months now lol... But from what I have read and can see from where mine are placed, lower light is what gives them the better base color… Kind of the same theory that red planet uses... If you put it up high and highlight it will turn all pink or red...so your sitting your high in the system ?

Nice! I find my tank to have the best colors when my nitrates or between 10 and 20... Phosphates are what I shoot for to be as low as possible... I find the most important thing for success is to just keep everything as stable as possible.. I love having everything automated but you have to be really careful and make sure you doublecheck everything consistently because autopilot can definitely cause some disasters if you're not on top of it.. I'm actively doing something to my tank every day so I'm aware when there's any malfunctions with the equipment... Good luck on your stick keeping I'm looking forward to seeing how you do.Yeah I hear you. I tested 0-5 on nitrates today for the first time in 3 years lol. Now its time to feed feed feed. Automation is the key for me.
