Will a single Reefi Uno 2.1 Pro with the 120 Degree lenses give me adequate coverage on a 36" mixed reef (UNS R90)? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy two of them?

I would do at least 2 fixtures. I run 3 with the 120 degree lenses on my 3' tank. My tank is SPS dominate and I run the lights at 50 watts.

Daniel has great customer service. If you message reefi he will answer any questions you have.

Just be careful with the PAR. These lights are ridiculously powerful. Good call on the 120 degree reflectors.

I have 1 on a 28"x28" cube with 120 degree reflector and ill say I could use some fill light. I have a good blanket of par, very even across the entire tank but as the corals grow they shade themselves. I think 2 would be good on a 36" whether or not you'll need the 120 or the 90 youll have to decide yourself. The 90 mounted higher will hit more angles than the 120 also youll use less power.

Great Points all around. I had not considered power draw differences with lenses and mounting height, but makes perfect sense to me now. Thank you!

I would get 2 if budget allows. I have 3 over my 48" tank.

Reefi's On it's way. What did it for me was the personal email attention from Daniel. Great customer service like that will always have my business. Thanks everyone!
Yeah its one of the selling points for me as well. I have 3 more waiting to go on my 180g (some day lol). Daniel is great very responsive.

Man Im so on the fence with these. I have a 96"x30x30 400gal system.. Ive been running Radions for the past 15 years started w/ the OG1 and have slowly swapped them as needed over the years.I have 2 g4 and 2g3 currently and want to get my sps rocking again.. None the less looking at the new g6 pro radions but keep seeing these reefi2.1 posts... I think Id need at least 6 if not 8 of these.. Would appreciate any thoughts on this.

Radions have proven not just to do the job but last an incredibly long time I know the Reefi are powerful and shimmer (which Ive always liked but never got w/ my Radions) but just dont wanna drop $3500 on lights that will only run for a 2-4 year period???? Ugg the trials and tribulations of this hobby LOL

Forget radions and get some Reefi's and if you need some fill light, Quanta Helix is the way to go.

Im actually using 2 Noo's Pro v3's that will be replaced shortly with 2 Reefi 2.1's I have 1 used at the moment but will buy the 2nd unit new next week.

My 36" tank is mixed but does have SPS on top thats been growing decent for over a year. Hoping the new Reefi's will really bring out the growth and color of my SPS.

Ive been using the reefi lights for 3 years with no issues. They are built well and serviceable. You will appreciate the amazing customer service. Do it!!!! 😂

These lights grow colorful coral.

I run xr30s g4 pro radions on one tank and reefis on the other. Reefis are much more powerful with a nicer spectrum.

Will Reefi uno 2.1 pro penetrate 48 inch deep tank?
