Reeflink software the worst or AITA?

I just purchased a radion xr15 and reef link. What a pain the butt to setup. After 2 hours of reseting the reef link multiple times, reseting the radion, plugging the radion into the power outlet, then into computer, back and forth, waiting for the reef link to reset and the light to turn blue, ugh. I usually breeze right through setups, but not this one! It is finally setup up now but I can't seem to get ecosmart live to adjust and save the start/stop times, etc to update to the light. I've had enough for today, I'll work on it some more tomorrow.

Should I bail on the reef link and invest in the apex now before it is too late?

After I let it “sit” for awhile I was able to use the app and see what this light can do. I still have to login to the eco-smartlive.com website to adjust the settings and I still have doubt that the settings actually save. But after a frustrating set up I do love the blue light setting. It really makes the gold torch and hammer shine. That being said, I’m still considering returning the reeflink and jumping into the apex.

Am I right or wrong?

Now after sitting for a few days the reeflink ring isn’t blue, I unplugged it and the light, logged out of app. Then plugged everything back in and I have a connection so I’m able to change the parameters of the light.

However, 2 hours later, the blue ring is lost again. what the heck?

Try firmware updating your router and modem if able.
